Built for Charles Fowell Willett Watts c1879 Melrose House was as grand as her owner's name. I naively took on a challenge for my love of architectural detail and regretted it many times along the way. I could have actually painted the entire exterior in the time it took to finish this work. As with many undertakings you only like it once it's finished and you're glad you did it.
